The hotel is well located, with easy access to many small shops along charming side streets. It’s within walking distance to the main attractions, making it very convenient for sightseeing. However, getting a taxi through BiTaksi or Uber can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours, as the streets in this area are narrow and often busy. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel at home. Overall, it’s definitely a great place to stay during your holiday in Istanbul. A few tips from my experience: 1. Avoid exchanging currency at the airport. “Global Exchange” may greet you with a smile, but their exchange rates are very poor. You’ll get much better rates in the city. 2. For airport transfers or tours, always ensure that a good quality vehicle is arranged. I had a bad experience with a VW that had poor air circulation — it felt like being in Squid Game! 3. Always compare prices across multiple shops before buying. Prices are often highly inflated, especially in tourist areas. 4. Taxis improved later during our stay, and all of them used their meters without any issues. 5. For you laundry a nice place is available few steps away from the hotel. I would definitely revisit Turkey, it’s a beautiful country with a lot to offer!
There is a reason why this hotel is highly rated and its not possible to write out every little thing. For me, the best part about this hotel is the staff, everyone from the front reception, to the chauffeur, the attendees at breakfast, and even the housekeeping staff. They are all so very nice and take the time to ensure that your stay is going well and ensure that you don't need anything else. We asked for some information on check in and the front staff took 15 min to explain everything in the area, all the closest attractions, and give us information about excursions that could be booked through the hotel.
We spent 3 nights here and was really welcoming. We had a small.terrace. the cleaners were great and even folded my pyjamas neatly after making the bed. Fresh towels were given daily. It was homely and the reception staff were very helpful and take the time to find out guest requirements. Breakfast was a mix of continental and Turkish cuisine. The catering staff were friendly and helpful. Yes I would recommend as located centrally and easy to walk to different attractions.
