And older but well-maintained hotel with absolutely HUGE rooms especially compared to others around the same price. My bed was actually the size of two doubles and larger than king size! ust a few steps off the main street and traffic. Would certainly stay there again!

Judging by the room prices now posted, I paid about 4 times the going rate when I booked directly with reception! Otherwise the place is unremarkable and, for the prices quoted on Google, quite reasonable. Worst aspect was the safe-box - quite unfathomable, even with the help of a staff member - why do they make them so complicated?!? The shower curtain leaked and soaked the bathroom floor - at least I did not have to clean it. Breakfast buffet was quite good but the rooftop bar was always closed.

Firstly, the hotel should not be granted 4 stars. The windows were just blocked and could not open. When I complained about not having fresh air, the receptionist just laughed in my face. The hotel is also definitely not beachfront, as they promote it. Secondly, I could not sleep for hours during my last night because there was another guest who just put on the music really loud. The windows and the floor in my room vibrated from it. The personnel refused to acknowledge it and first tried to convince me it came from the beach; then that it came from a nearby closed rooftop; eventually, they just informed me that it should stop around midnight and tried to explain this was normal in Vietnam on a weekend day. So three different explanations for the fact that there was someone in the hotel who thought it was fun to blast the music on. They refused to change the room for me, even though I complained I had come to rest and sleep and they, as a 4-star hotel, could not provide it for me. First they said I had to pay an upgrade for the change of room, then that the available room only had two single beds, and later on, that the hotel was fully booked. Other three different explanations for the fact they just didn’t want to change the room for me. The night receptionist left my room when he came to check on the noise, telling me he would check available rooms and get back to me, but I never heard from him. Sure enough, at exactly 12 am the noise stopped. So it was obviously a guest who stopped the music when they finally told them to. After hours of complaining, I could finally enjoy my rest and sleep. Thirdly, I asked them to book two of the tours they promoted themselves, and after two days of asking and getting the answer that they’ll let me know with no news, I finally booked the tours on my own. All in all, a horrendous experience. Rude and deceitful staff, disrespectful and unhelping. Definitely NOT recommendable.
