We were robbed and had $450.00 in cash stollen from my wallet, from the room! The room was cleaned that day, if you can call it cleaning! Reported it to staff as soon as I realised, not much help, just assurances that their staff and outside cleaning contractors would not do that. What?? No apology, no assistance from staff or manager Tazi, just a slip of a paper with an email address to send my complaint too. I was told they will investigate and call me, as we were leaving the next day. That was 3 days ago and have heard nothing back. Our trip (drive from Sydney to Brisbane) was delayed as I opted to go to the police and report the crime. Apart from that, the place is disgustingly dirty, full of cockroaches roaming freely over everything. The fan in the room is so dirty and full of dust, that I would not put it on. I would not step into the shower without something on my feet from fear of contracting something, mould in the shower. Extremely loud, no glazing on the windows to cancel the road noise. Luckily for us, we were so tired from work, that we fell asleep in spite of it. Safe stopped working, hence the reason my handbag and wallet could not be locked up. We travel for business and leisure all the time, in Australia and overseas. This is the single worst experience of my life when it come to accommodation. Never again!
I am writing this review to raise serious concerns regarding my recent experience at APX parramatta which was not only disappointing but also financially unfair. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay a $15 parking fee that was not previously disclosed. Immediately after that, I was informed—without any prior mention or explanation—of a $200 security deposit requirement. This deposit was neither outlined during the booking process nor mentioned in any pre-arrival communications. Despite complying and paying the deposit, I was met with unprofessional and dismissive conduct from the front desk. My attempts to seek clarification were refused . The lack of transparency and disregard for guests' rights” is unacceptable. My $200 deposit has also not been refunded and yet still hasn’t (26 days). This situation is not only deeply frustrating but suggests a worrying pattern. After further investigation, I discovered multiple similar complaints from other guests who also reported issues with undisclosed fees and withheld deposits.
Strong smell, can you believe that the room has poor ventilation?😞also the receptionist he was busy on his phone,make me waiting more than ten minutes to listen his communication with someone on the phone! He doesn’t want service customer,no smiles no patience no explanation ☹️
