AQI Skanes Family Resort

We stayed at this resort for 2 weeks as a family of 9, and not 1 person has got a bad thing to say about the resort. The children got upset on the last night because they didn't wanna leave the amazing entertainment team behind, and in all the years on going on holidays, the children have never reacted like that before so a big thank you to the entertainment team keep up the good guys and girls. We all looking at booking to go back some time soon

Pros - The maids, waiters, bar staff and animation team were friendly. Plenty of opportunities to get a sun bed, the gym was OK, our family room was nice, the food was good and the drinks were great Cons - The reception staff were not very helpful, at times things seemed to happen in slow motion, nor could they communicate things effectively e.g. our check in was a bit of a debacle! It's a nice hotel for a family holiday nothing more. I have stayed in more nicest hotels in Egypt. Won't be coming back.

Overall, the hotel is spacious and beautifully designed. The swimming pools are clean and large, with lovely green areas around, and the beach is clean. The restaurant is spacious, well-organized, and the food is delicious and varied. However, I have some criticisms: On the first day, I arrived at 4:00 PM but could not enter my room immediately. I had to wait at the reception for a long time, which was frustrating, and I was eventually given a different room, even though the room should have been ready by 12:00 PM. The next day, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the phone was not working. There were ants in the room. There were no animations or activities for children.
