You cannot beat this location. Perfection - right on the beach. A two second stroll and your toes are in the sand. The cottage is authentic and really cozy, amazing fireplace, magic views from the patio, we'll be back...
Location, Location, Location Pictures do not do this little gem justice. A lot of lovely bespoke furniture and attention to detail in all the rooms. Walking from the house to the beach in under a minute always has my vote and the pool was a nice added bonus. I would have loved to be more welcomed. There were no notes, gifts or even the simplest convenience like sugar or fresh milk in the fridge. The kitchen was stocked with enough crockery and cutlery and lovely serving dishes.The only gripe for me was the truly, tiny, old stove that cannot cater for a house with 4 bedrooms. Check out time was weird for me - 10am on a Sunday? We were very happy to have that extended to 12 but still one last barbecue would have been great.
Beautiful location. However not as clean as it should be, one bathroom in particular was really dirty. Toilets 2 were leaking and didn't stop flushing, and I know there are properties in Paternoster for a third of the price that have inverters / generators that handle load shedding and no place to braai. However, location is fantastic!
