AQUA Hotel Promenade & Spa

Excellent hotel. Very well located, being near beach, train station, street with shops. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms kept very clean. Comfy beds. Pool was lovely. Pool in shade in morning, so water a bit chilly, but warmed up quite a bit when in the sun in afternoon. Poolside drinks service a bonus. Food is superb. Food choices are vast both morning and evening and different options each day and all was very tasty. Nice wines and cocktails too. Dofi Jet Boat also stops nearby and takes you to Tossa de Mar. Never got to try out the spa facilities though, but they looked nice. Really enjoyed our stay and felt is was good value when compared to the quality of the service, facilities and food. My partner and I booked the hotels most basic room and on arrival were greeted by an incredibly helpful and equally nice lady. We were told that we had been upgraded for free to a sea view room, which was of course very welcomed by us. The room was clean and modern with the necessary amenities and a nice balcony overlooking the beach. The best part of the hotel is definitely the staff. The service both before we had even arrived (as we had emailed a lot!), and during our stay was superb. Almost every day we’d have something else to ask the staff and each time they’d be equally helpful. From giving us a voucher for kayaking, to recommendations on places to go and things to do, and even helping us book our bus return to the airport (Thanks Ari!). These are possibly the friendliest and most helpful people they could have. The spa located in the basement was also one of the highlights of our stay, with a range of amenities like various pools, hot tubs, saunas etc. These were overshadowed by our treatment at the spa by two very talented massage therapists (Marianna and Eva). We felt very comfortable the whole time and the service was amazing.

I enjoyed my stay here! The room was perfect and the view was breathtaking. The food was incredible and the staff , just amazing and super efficient . In particular a special shoutout to the hotel receptionist Rosario who was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond when was asked questions about plans and trips to do around the area , she was very knowledgeable and approachable.
