Very good kids offer, swimming pool a small and can be crowded. 10min walk to the beach. Rooms are big and clean with basic furniture. We've got issue with shower which was not solved during our stay. Beside this and other small issue our stay was good. My child would like to come back.
After five days at the resort, my impressions are mixed. Many aspects of this place have the aura of a scam aimed at desperate parents. Let's start with the positives, however, which are the nicely prepared rooms and the incredibly friendly staff who try to help. Also, the team organizing the children's animations was amazing and really gave it their all, and then some. This brought moments of positive freshness amidst the flood of frustrating experiences. The check-in process at the reception desk alone took about an hour, which is a significant challenge in itself when all the families are waiting there with children who are quickly losing their patience. We were given a room in what was probably one of the worst possible parts of the hotel, with a view of a busy street and a bus stop (photo attached). Maybe it was a coincidence, but it didn't positively affect the overall impression. The internet in the room was practically non-existent. The signal dropped constantly, and a speed test showed between 3 and 5 Mbit/s (screenshot attached). The locations for animations often didn't match reality. We met another family who received a schedule in a different language (supposedly from the reception, although we couldn't get one there ourselves). It turned out that their version and ours, downloaded directly from the Aqua Resort website, contained different information about the scheduled activities. Unfortunately, there were no dates on the schedule itself, so it's impossible to say for sure whether the reception handed out an outdated copy. No one was able to enforce the rules for using the attractions. A good example is the swimming pool, where entry times are theoretically defined by the letter of the building a guest is staying in. A very good system in theory. In practice, upon entering the pool area, we were informed that no one checks this, so it was no surprise when the pool turned out to be overcrowded. We tried to go to the pool one more time, and I'm convinced that a health inspector should take a look at it. At one point, there were so many people in it, including children, that I can't imagine anyone else could fit, and people kept coming. We gave up on this "attraction" for good, if only for safety reasons. The aqua aerobics doesn't happen – my wife went to the class, and the lifeguard said he couldn't remember the last time it took place. However, it's still advertised on the website. Many attractions come at an extra cost, which initially seems like a fair approach. However, it quickly turns into a grotesque situation when it turns out that the child's guardian also has to pay for entry to the inflatable bouncy castles, even though they are not participating in the fun and are only there because the child cannot be on them alone. We also tried the self-defense class for children, but the man running it definitely had no experience working with kids aged 6-12 on vacation. The class was supposed to last an hour, and when we left after 35 minutes, the warm-up was still going on. The instructor, to justify his lack of a plan, was making up exceptionally cringeworthy exercises. And finally, a minor detail, but I'm on a roll now – the ice rink, which in concept is a great idea and attraction, is not cleaned or polished, making it difficult for children to use. I admit, the kids enjoyed it anyway, but it's one of the extra-paid attractions, so this problem was also noticeable.
Overpriced everything, not worth the money. Disorganized confused staff. And very rude. I had to roam entire complex to figure out schedule of animations. The blonde girl at the Kids Play 1/A playroom where animations took place yelled at me that she doesn't have the schedule. She sent me back to the reception where I was just coming from. Basically 1h ago, on a rainy day, with two kids after me. The swimming pool is extremely small and crowded. At least if stuff were more respectful. Not coming here anymore.
