Great food, nice stay – but some downsides Loved the excellent service, the buffet and food quality (at main restaurant, beach restaurant and bar!) at the hotel. Unfortunately, many guests still reserve sunbeds early despite clear rules, which really comes down to individual responsibility and courtesy. Boats near the beach play sometimes loud music, disturbing the peaceful setting. Rooms are good, the hotel ambiente is great. Overall, a good stay with some room for improvement.

I had the most amazing time in this hotel. The design, the attention to detail, beautiful gardens, comfy rooms (with pillow menu, which I didn't need to choose from as my pillow was so comfy), attentive staff, Masterchef quality food, private beach, all contributed to an incredibly relaxing holiday. I stayed in the Aquagrant Resort mid May, therefore it wasn't very busy, just enough to feel comfortable and tranquil. I loved the gardens on various levels, each with a great size pool, each bar designed in a different style, we even discovered a small amphitheatre which I'm guessing opens up in a busy season. The gym is rather small but the hotel introduced a booking system so I had the gym all to myself on most mornings. Drinks in hotel bars are rather pricey as expected for a 5 star hotel, however the coffee machines in hotel rooms are refilled every day, as well as bottles with still and sparkling water stocked up. Lindos town is only 25 min walk from the hotel, so we used to go there after dinner and had a drink in this beautiful Greek town. Worth visiting, as well as the acropolis on the top with amazing views. The beach was lovely, crystal clear waters, however for beach lovers, there is a slight disappointment of large rocks in the water. To work with the nature, the hotel built a bridge to access the deeper waters, however you still need to jump over few metres of flat rocks to be able to swim freely. So for those who don't like to swim too far out, this may be an issue. However, the free sun loungers and views are wonderful. There is a Pefkos beach nearby accessible by taxi with a beautiful long sandy beach. Sun loungers there are approx 20 euros for two, incl. the parasol. The hotel is beautifully situated, in a quiet place away from the tourist centers. We spent two weeks at the hotel and it was a wonderful vacation for which we thank all the staff. Special thanks to Alina, who took very warm and professional care of us during all meals. We also thank the guys from ZEN BAR for excellent drinks and the best coffee in the hotel. Manolis and Mike are a great tandem.
