Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite

Stayed for 10 days in June. Pools were incredible and plenty of sun loungers for guests. Spa was lovely and massage was amazing. Breakfast was incredible — the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Reception staff very polite and helpful. Location is brilliant — close enough to town but not too noisy. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Only had Bed & Breakfast but paid for BBQ night and ‘Grand Buffet’. Great selection and high-quality food. Went for a pool view room. Was spacious, clean and well-maintained. Only improvement would be the air conditioning (not strong enough) and the shower (very hot and cold).

The hotel was top notch 15/10, breakfast perfect 10/10, fine dining didn't go well at all with meal choices (am from the UK) so found it hard to survive on tiny portions. Staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful and made you feel comfortable. The wellness area was spacious, and the outdoor area had enough space for everyone. Gym facilities. Rooms we're cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. Close to many restaurants, information centre, and bus stop. When checking out we realised we had been billed for every water that was served to us on our stay with our dinner, which didn't make sense, so do advise yourself and your guess.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel back in July/Aug 2023. We were a family of 16 and the hotel really went out of their way to make sure our rooms were closed together and that for dinner (we were half board) we had the same table on the mezzanine floor outside in the beautiful garden terrace area. The food was outstanding, every evening there was a variety of different dishes to choose from. We had lunch most days and again the salads, pizzas and sandwiches were good portions and the quality was good. The swimming pool area was kept clean at all times, I thoroughly enjoyed doing water aerobics most mornings and visited the spa area a few times where I could unwind. I had a massage which was good and relaxing. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Bardolino where you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and 10 minute walk to the lake. It’s an absolutely beautiful town. We hired a car and parked it in the car park of the hotel. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.
