We spent four days here and it was a great time. We had breakfast included which was always good and filling. Watch out for the seagulls, they like to take your food when you're away from your table. It was great to spend time by the pool after spending the whole day away from the hotel. The rooms are great and had English channels! Would come back here again for sure the next time we come back to Lagos.
Just got back from a family holiday here. Great hotel, ticks all the boxes. Lovely clean rooms, huge swimming pool, nice selection of breakfast items and great location. But most of all, the staff were just brilliant. Room was cleaned each day, restaurant and bar staff were all lovely and most of all, reception staff were SO helpful and kind. They even helped to arrange a taxi with a child's car seat provided so we could take our son to Lagos zoo (we weren't renting a car and buses are not very frequent). There is a self-service laundry on-site which was not cheap but the machines are have a pretty huge capacity. The kids' club wasn't up and running when we went - I think this is high season only? Anyway - I would definitely come back to this hotel with my family, and would 100% recommend it to my friends and relatives.
We had a really great stay at the Aqualuz. Breakfast was fresh with lots of options. Facilities were great (especially the fitness club). The self service laundry would have been nice but both washing machines were out of order when I went to use them. What I did notice is that many guests ‘reserve’ pool loungers in the morning by placing down their towel, then the seats go vacant for most of the day until those who reserved them decide to sit down. This results in the majority of the loungers being ‘reserved’ even though nobody is using them. It would be great if the hotel could be proactive against this by stating a firm first come first serve policy. That’s my only concern. Otherwise great hotel option! Great location!
