Arrived on Monday, and checked out Friday 11 AM. We arrived very early, already at 7.30 AM, and check in is at 2 PM - we asked a couple of times if our room was ready, and also if they could give us a heads up, if it got ready before normal check in ✅, but that was not possible - understandable - also felt like they were tired of me getting up and ask so many times (two times), when I walked away the piccolo said something to the other, in Czech. Anyway, got our room finally after waiting for approximately 6 hours, outside the hotel, by a playground and miniature golf course ⛳ Clean rooms, white sheets, and spring matress, different types of pillow. Had a kids bed, which I think was a sleeping couch. They have thick curtains, so you can sleep in late 💤😴 They had prepared a Aquapalace bag, with 3 blue towels, that you can bring down to swimming area - note, if you want clean towels, just place it on the floor, and room service will daily clean your room and make your bed. Room service personnel could not speak English, but we tried to communicate regarding the mess we already had made after day 1 😆🫣 We were able to connect chrome cast on the TV, and therefore possible to stream movies. 👍🏽 🎥🍿 We also had a mobile coolbox from our car, about 35-40L connected in our room, there is NO REFRIGERATOR, in the room we had (standard room up to 3 pers. babys can sleep on the big bed, we were 4 pers., with my daughter at 2y.). On the other side of the road, there is Kaufland, you can buy everyday groceries. Here you also will find an Asian small diner, Vietnamese and Thai courses, and also bubble tea. Parking spots at the hotel garage 350 kcz/day, or 100 kcz/day two different opportunities, some are cheaper and others more expensive per day/night - depends on the availability. At arrival you can park just right outside theain entrance for 15 min., for unloading bagage or pick up. When parking in the hotels garage, you can use your room key to drive in/out, so you do not need a separate ticket - as you need for Aquapalace parking spots. The standard room: Bed were big and comfy for 4 nights. It has aircondition - you can manually adjust the temp. Bathroom with bathtub 🛁 and a shower 🚿 shampoo/body available, with a nice scent of freshness and tropical fruit (do not think it is hypoallergenic). Bathroom had a hair dryer, though my universal diffuser did not fit for my perm hair. At Aquapalace changing rooms you will find a different kind of hair dryer and a diffuser can be connected. A safe deposit box - create your own password. 🔑 Rooms had a nice noise isolation, from the others, I did not hear other children screaming or crying, other than trying to make my own stop! 🫣😆 Possible to buy flipflops, stored in the storage cabinet for approximately 100 kcz (otherwise there is Lidl, they also had at this time of the year). Access to Aquapalace you will get an armband, with a chip connected to your room no., and this way you pay through the payment card connected to your room - all will be payed at check out. Buying food and drinks at Aquapalace is paid through the armband, so you do not have to bring your wallet. 💳 We had half pension, breakfast included from 7-11 AM, eggs, wieners, yoghurt, canned fruits, deli meats and cheese 🧀 Small English pancakes with toppings. Also had a kids table, with donuts every second day, muffin, cut out string cucumbers and carrots Fresh fruits: banana, apple, grapes 🍇 clementine. Drinks served: prosecco wine, kids champagne with peach 🍑 taste, coffee, water, cold/warm milk, tea and different juice 🧃 Had a souvenir shop in the lobby. Every night at 6-09:30 PM, there is a creative kids workshop, nail art, drawing and creating scented/coloured cut out "pudding/gelo like", place it in the car/room for decoration. Regarding the location, depending on your expectations on what to do; if you are planning for a shopping spree holiday, this is NOT the location, then I would recommend staying in the middle of the old town Prague. Stay here for Aquapalace 🎢

It's important to separate the review of the hotel from the water park. The hotel rooms are basic but sufficient; a small fridge in the room was missing. The check-in and check-out process was unpleasant — I felt uncomfortable with how it was handled. They play games with the currency exchange between Czech koruna and euros. The breakfast was excellent, and of course, the water park was a highlight

Already from the booking stage the experience was not good. We contacted the by email asking for a price offer- received it, agreed to proceed but the then the woman who had the correspondence with us disappeared and stop answering. After 3 days of chasing then they admitted that she did a mistake and offered a lower price than she should have. Then the reservation manger decided to make a fool of me and instead of apologising and admitting to their mistake he claimed that I didn’t agreed to the price (which is a lie), but well that was the preview to the hospitality standards of his team. After agreeing to pay the higher price since it was my daughter’s birthday and we didn’t want to disappoint her, we were all disappointed by: the outdated rooms and facilities, executive lounge is a tiny cube with dry cookies, the reception team are incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly. The cancels our keycards one day earlier than check out and I was locked outside of my room with a crying baby- but did they care? Nop! Sure everyone makes mistakes but at least an apology?! The receptionist was just staring at me with 0 empathy or basic politeness. As I said 0 in hospitality. To make it short: old hotel, way overpriced, poor breakfast and worse of all the horrible service. In the photo is the kettle they gave to boil water for baby food. That’s how they treat their guests.
