Aquatech Villas DeRosa Resort

We love this hotel location. The ocean view from the specious balcony. Good place to see the sunrise, quiet, not a lot of people at the beach. There is plenty of space. Big dining room, specious living room. Nice bathroom. Great food delivered to your room. Great service from Tony. Water dispencer a plus, coffe maker. They receive us with a bottle of wine Great Wifi connection. I will definitely come back. Only one thing I feel it could be fixed: the bedroom humidity. I understand it's right in front of the ocean. Maybe a small dehumidifier can be offered during check-in or open the window. I am already planning to go back!

This out 2nd trip to Villas de Rosa. We love it here. We brought our sons and their spouses this time and they fell in love with this place too. Excellent service, breathtaking views, fantastic snorkeling, and a short car ride to many adventures.

We really wanted to love this place but ran into a couple problems that really ruined our experience. Overall, the rooms were decent and had everything we needed. I will also say, the ability to walk out our screen door and right to the beach was the best feature. The rooms need to be upgraded and the couch was like sitting in a rock. If you do not have a car, you’re only options for food within a walkable distance is the restaurant with the hotel, or the beach bar next door which is run by the same family that runs the hotel, as it’s a family business. But all of this was completely doable until we ran into our problems. We had multiple items stolen from us by the housekeeper. My shoes and my daughter’s shoes just disappeared. We alerted them about it and were told that this woman is the lead housekeeper and they have never had anyone complain about items being stolen and we must have misplaced it. We did not misplace our shoes. And when she placed new towels in our room it was conveniently in the same place my daughter’s shoes were. We tore that place up and never found them. From then on, we locked everything up and we refused housekeeping. Even some of the food we bought randomly disappeared. Overall, This ruined our experience here and we would never come back. If you stay here, stay with caution and lock everything up. (We had done this initially but didn’t lock up our shoes cause… they are shoes) While it’s annoying, it’s the only way I would ever consider coming back and hope management takes this more seriously the next time. Because promise there will be a next time considering we alerted them the first day something was stolen (my shoes) and we managed to have something stolen the next day (my daughter’s shoes). We were even on the patio when this happened so Soto is ballsy to steal things in the vicinity of us. So even if you think something wont be stolen, it very well may. So lock EVERYTHING up!
