Arabella Hotel Golf and Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Arabella Hotel in Hermanus, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The room’s design is truly remarkable, offering a seamless blend of luxury and nature. With the expansive sliding doors left open, I was enveloped by the soothing sounds of birds, frogs, and the distant ocean waves—an immersive experience that made relaxing in the beautifully appointed bedroom feel like a retreat into nature itself. The fresh coastal air flowing through the room only enhanced this serene ambiance. The staff at Arabella deserve the highest praise for their outstanding service. From housekeeping to the concierge, reception, and the bar and restaurant teams, every interaction was marked by genuine warmth, professionalism, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a flawless stay truly set this hotel apart. Excellent hotel with surprising quality. Every area we dealt with was so much better than we thought. The Spa was exceptional having the ability to go into the hydro pool, the steam room and sauna. 5 star quality whereever we went. Our room was exceptional with plenty of space. The night was quiet and the animal sounds beautiful to listen to. Definitely will go there again. Highly recommended.

Spa is good with great service. Pity that only the small hydro pool is heated whereas the 3 outdoor pools are all no longer heated. Rooms are large and well appointed. Service was 3.5 to 4 star at best - from the check in to the turn down service, it was 4 star at best. Main dining restaurant was ok for dinner (definitely not 5 star).
