Arabella World Hotel

I’m unsure why this hotel has such bad reviews? I think it’s personal preference more than the actual hotel. I thought the staff were friendly, we checked in fine. The cleaners came in every do some nice designs on the beds. We were constantly in the pool, it was so clean and refreshing as it was hot outside. Th beach is lovely and only 5 minutes away, the sea is amazing. We went on some lovely walks around the town. I found the hotel to be clean and tidy and the staff would always try and help as best as they could. The staff worked long hours and always had smiles on there faces. I believe the entertainment in the evening could be expanded to have more ideas and the kids entertainment started at 9pm could do with being slightly earlier. I will admit I had slight issue with the food, not that it wasn’t nice as it was lovely and so much of it. However I did feel it was the same every day, which I think is a common theme for all hotels. I think they could expand to offer a few more English dishes to the menu, but overall the food was good. I would book to go again, I nearly changed this hotel after reading the reviews but I am glad I never as we had a great time.

My parents had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arabella —it was their first time there. For the price, the hotel exceeded expectations: clean, well-maintained, and with daily room service. They would absolutely recommend it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and varied. The standout, though, was the animation team, especially Murat, who made sure guests felt welcome and entertained every day. The rest of the staff were also friendly, upbeat, and helpful throughout. It was a truly lovely holiday, and they’re already planning to go back.

Our stay at Arabella World Hotel this July was extremely disappointing and fell far short of what one would expect from a four-star hotel. The air conditioning was faulty. In the middle of summer, this made our stay very uncomfortable. Despite raising the issue multiple times, it was never resolved. The staff only responded after asking 3–4 times, and even then, there was no urgency or follow-through. The language barrier was another significant issue. Most of the staff spoke only Turkish, which made communication difficult for international guests. More concerning than the lack of language skills was the attitude of the staff—they generally appeared uninterested and unwilling to help. There was no sense of hospitality or customer care. The food at the hotel was limited in variety, and both the quality and hygiene were poor. During our entire 4-night stay, our bed sheets and towels were not changed even once. I had to go out of my way to find a housekeeping staff member with a trolley just to get fresh towels. The only redeeming features of the hotel were the decent-sized pool with water slides, which added some fun for the kids, and the Hammam service, which was run by a separate team who were professional and friendly. Overall, this hotel is not deserving of a four-star rating by any standard, and I would not recommend it to future travellers
