Arama Riverside 5 Bedrooms by Villas Direct Bali

The villas are quite nice. It's is quite cramped, each villa has quite alot of single rooms which takes up space. The gardens are small and has a pool which is small but enough for having a relaxing day out in the hot sun. For the service and quality of the villa, it's surprisingly very well priced. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out

We have just returned from Bali after spending 5 nights at these villas which I had booked from before Covid. The owner, Craig, was very cooperative and helpful by extending the booking until we could use it. We were a group of 8 adults (we were in Villa 11) and found them extremely comfortable and spacious but having said that, a couple of bedrooms were a little on the small side. The master bedroom was very spacious with an outdoor bathroom. The rooms were very clean but we felt that some of the decor needs to be updated. The staff were excellent and could not be faulted and were very much at our beck and call. We had driver's available (nothing was too much trouble) so thank you Putu and Agus, plus we had a chef (thank you Nyoman) who cooked us daily breakfast as well as anything we wanted for dinner (you just pay the cost of ingredients) and thank you Wayan too. The other thing they did for us was supplied and stocked our fridge with drinks as per our request so we had nice cold drinks and paid them on our arrival. The staff are such a credit to these villas and spoke adequate English so overall I would definitely recommend these villas as they are very well located with an easy walk to Seminyak and shops and restaurants but far away enough that you don't have all the traffic and noise. They are pretty much as presented in the photos on their site.

We lived 1,5 years in villa 7 and first 6 months was great, until everything started to fall apart. In rainy days water was dripping from the ceiling in every bathroom (3 bedroom villa), the doors had holes and are rotten, they changed the AC when we asked cuz it was not working and helped to fix our coffee machine. But management is so unprofessional, the longer we lived there, the worse it had gotten. Ever breaking water, they couldn’t fix so we had to live without any water for several days. And when they fixed it, it broke the next day so we stayed without hot water for a week or more. Problems with electricity. Our last month just before we left they started to fix the pool and we couldn’t use it for 5 days or so. So disrespectful and unprofessional although we lived there long-term. It’s just a small bits and pieces, there’s more to the story, the point is I wouldn’t return.
