Nice, clean, quiet.

We love this place! Our vacations for the past 2 years have been here! We first came in the summer of 2024 for 5 days, which we immediately extended for 2 more days! Clean air, quiet and peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, comfortable rooms even with small children!!! Everything you need for a vacation is there, even locally around the hotel and the restaurant! Fitness park, tennis court, ping pong table, pools, play corner! In cooler weather, there are wonderful sights in the area and the local treasure hunt with Uncle Manó's tour guide is not worth missing! We were able to collect a lot of mountain crystals with our own hands, which will remain an eternal memory! The staff is adorable, helpful, child-centric and even their humor is on point! ❤️ Personally, we got into close contact with Ágó, Erzsike and Csilla during the days we spent here!🥰🥰🥰 We would like to thank you and the colleagues we don't know by name for the delicious food, the kind service, the clean room and the many other kindnesses and love we received from you❣️❣️❣️ We are returning guests because of you❤️❤️❤️ You spoiled our little girl🥰 The owners are friendly 🥰 Uncle Tibi is a real grandfather 😊 he pleases the children as much as he can! He tells us adults a lot of things, whether about history, the world today, or his plans for the future, we always listen with great interest, just like he does to our little story🥰 And Aunt Piroska is a phenomenon 😚 It's rare to find a place in today's world where the owners sit down and chat happily with the guests about everyday life, as if we were just a family!🥰 Thank you for the wonderful 2 weeks we were able to spend here, instead of the original 10 days 😅 we added a few days again🥰 We have been here many times in the past 2 years, but not the last!! There is still something to see in the area! And the Aranybánya Hotel is still close to our hearts, where it is not a burden to come even with small children, it is a real refreshment!! Nice family motel and great sorroundings with an enjoyable but forgettable wellness section. Good location in the heart of the city. There are a few things to mention, you need to know when you visit. If you operate a wellness hotel it is not questionnable that you have AC in the room it should be quite standard these days. Well you do not have it here, if you are staying here any other season than summer, be prepared to make a decesion to be well cooked by the heat or get bitten by mosquitos if you risk opening the window during night just to sleep a bit. This poor young man at the hotel desk runs the reception during daytime, but has no idea whats going on. Why do i need to ask for directions where to have breakfast, lunch or dinner (fyi, at the other side of the road among the guesthouses). Have absolutely no idea about the booking made earlier, even the simpliest, but relevant informations was unable to be fetched from him. Surely we read the guide in the room but still one can understand my point. Tibibá is quite busy so he cannot be at all the place all the time. Breakfast was nice, the staff there was real kind nice and immediately tried to solve whatever came up. A+ for the ham and eggs and french toast, and for the coffee. Bed was comfy though, internet is at acceptable speed, however i do not understand how can you put your hotel computers, smart tvs and guest devices to the same network without isolating each endpoint (it is just a note for you if you read this). Drain was clogged in the shower so water took a half hour to go down the pipes, it is simply not maintained, just used. Towels was smelly. If you need to pay for the bathrobes i expect no stains, holes and torn parts. Even after the third replacement, then we gave up. This is not perfectionism, but a minimal expectation from the guests. I'd suggest you to take some time in your own apartments from time to time to reveal these and fix them. Hopefully you can gain some points that you can improve and guests will be more happy, but i read the other comments from 2015 on TripAdv. with the same problems, so i just believe you simply ignoring those. Unfortunately we are not planning to return here. Probably our expectations was higher than what we experienced. -sorry for the long post, stayed here 2020 summer-
