Arbat House Hotel

Location is incredible in the centre of Moscow. Stayed in the hotel twice and prices can vary, sometimes they overcharge in my opinion. Rooms are clean though be it a bit small. The staff is helpful and professional. The breakfast is alright. If you are looking for something reasonable close to the centre this is it.

One of the hardest reviews I’ve had to write. Why 2 stars? Hotel is excellent! Staff are mostly fantastic! Had one incident where the waiter forgot to take our order for 15 minutes after we sat but that’s not a deal breaker… Nappe, the restaurant downstairs. I don’t mind paying a little extra for food or drink right at the hotel - I get it. But 550 rubles, for a Chinese bottled beer? Almost 9 Australian dollars. Get some class and hire a bar manager that doesn’t make your place look like it’s run by thieves. Completely ruined the dining experience of the establishment because it ransomed a nice night out with a partner or family. For that - 2 stars. Ridiculous.

Pictures are not what you get in the real life, rooms are worn out same as bathrooms, rooms very small, walls are scratched, bed sheets worn out, you will not get what you see on the pictures on their website
