It is a wonderful place, we spent 10 days here. Reading the comments before our visit, I was worried how it will be. And yes: the rooms could be cleaner, many parts could be renovated and if you expect a luxorious hotel, you will be disappointed. But altogethet the whole experience the sorrounding the pools, the friendly staff the lots of programs for the kids made it a wonderful holiday. Our 3 kids (7&5) and us loved it

We have been here in 2021 in June. It is a great location for families with kids, since the ocean access is limited (no sharks ;) ) and there is the park & zoo in walking distance. But... 4 stars raise a certain expectaion which was not fullfilled. The whole area is in need of maintenance/reparations; the rooms are functional, but nothing cosy. Ac has been mentioned in other posts already. Food was ok; again for the kids quite sufficient, but not quite 4 stars. The animation staff took great care of the kids, ours loved the disco in the evening. But overall, and it was the beginning of the season, I felt a 'lack of motivation' throughout the entire staff.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the quality of service and accommodations during my stay at Arbatax Park from July 10th to 17th. I had high expectations for a memorable family vacation, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what was promised and expected from a supposedly 4-star establishment. To begin with, I paid a significant amount of money to secure two interconnected rooms for my family of four. However, upon arrival, it became apparent that the reality of the resort differed greatly from what was portrayed on your website. The misleading nature of the website was a significant factor in my decision to choose Arbatax Park, as it presented an entirely different image of what awaited us. Upon entering our rooms, we were immediately met with disappointment. The noise emitted by the air conditioning unit, positioned a mere meter away from the bed, was incredibly disruptive, making it difficult for us to sleep throughout our entire stay. The lack of a thermostat to control the temperature only added to our discomfort. Furthermore, basic amenities were lacking, such as glasses, a telephone guide, instructions for the TV, and Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms. This further hindered our ability to fully enjoy our stay. Additionally, the housekeeping service failed to replenish the soap throughout our stay, despite our requests. It was only after three days of reminding the staff that I had to personally visit the reception to procure soap for our room. Such negligence and lack of attention to detail are not expected from a reputable establishment. The overall condition of Arbatax Park was disheartening. It was evident that the resort is in dire need of renovations and improvements, both physically and in terms of management mindset. The communication barrier was another significant issue, as more than half of your employees struggled to communicate effectively in English. Many staff members displayed a remarkable level of ignorance, with only a handful being genuinely helpful and accommodating. Furthermore, we experienced several inconveniences during our stay, including a power outage and water shortage. The key provided to access our room was also problematic, causing frequent struggles to unlock the door. To make matters worse, we were not permitted to use the closest pool to the sea, despite the substantial amount of money we paid. The lack of clear signage or information regarding pool access was embarrassing and left us feeling humiliated. The overall lack of politeness and professionalism displayed by your staff suggests that proper training alone may not be sufficient to address these issues. The breakfast provided each morning was consistently of low quality, and the tables and chairs in the dining area were noticeably unclean. Furthermore, the general upkeep of the common areas left much to be desired, with safety hazards present throughout the resort. I must stress that I am sharing my experience to express my profound disappointment with the quality of service and accommodation provided, as it significantly impacted the enjoyment of my summer holiday. I do not recommend Arbatax Park at its current price level.
