Arbia Dorka Heritage Palace

Stayed here again last night and as usual, we were completely satisfied. The check-in is a little different because they don't have a staffed front desk instead you schedule when you're going to arrive and they meet you. The rooms were perfect, comfy and very clean. The bed was excellent and perfect for my bad back. Anytime we come North, we stay here. Breakfast was one of the best; there is a continental breakfast and then a menu with all sorts of choices, made fresh. Btw, this B&B is right on the city park and a few minutes walk to downtown and old city; great location. Anytime we come North, we stay here.

This small boutique hotel is in the best position of Varazdin, you are in 3 minutes at the corzo, the beautiful main square of the town; the terrace of the hotel in front of the park is a real gem. The hotel and the rooms are pretty new and amazing, fascinating decorations and charme, everything is clean and all facilities are there; the staff is young and very nice, always helpful, but the staff is also overloaded with work: two or max. three persons deal with reception, big terrace outside, bar and cakes shop inside (also and mostly with external clients) the breakfast and the daily needs of the hotel guests: all this at the same time. They try to cope and always do their best but more staff would be necessary; breakfast really has to improve, and the place for the buffet around the reception is not ideal at all and very small; a different organisation of the space would be much better. Coffee and cappuccino are really good. The bathroom in the suite is great, the shower is exceptionally large. Prices are good. We can recommend this hotel.

Room is very small with very less walking space despite ours being biggest possible room, linens were very hard to use. Temperature control wasn’t functional properly. Dustins should have lid Staff at cafe / reception was very kind and helpful. They packed some snacks for us as we would miss breakfast due to early check out.
