It is a well located hotel, relatively close to the airport. The staff is kind, the room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is varied, with many options to choose from. You can also serve dinner at the restaurant. The only remark would be the fact that the room where I stayed was on the street side and the noise produced by the tram bothered me a bit.
We stayed at this hotel one night due to transfer . Room was clean, especially I like bed, linen was perfect, very clean and comfortable, no smells, the reception persons were very friendly, answered all questions, buffet was open only until 10 a m , that was not enough time, the polish old woman who stayed at the omelet station was awfully rude, she doesn’t like me and my son because we talked Ukrainian language, she was not polite at all, she rattled with the frying pan. Location is not comfortable because you need to rake taxi from the airport.
Very Disappointed – Forced to Pay for Something I Didn't Want or Need. I booked my stay at Arche Hotel Krakowska in advance directly through their website and paid in full. When I arrived late in the evening after a long journey, I was shocked to be told at check-in that it is MANDATORY to purchase breakfast in order to check in. I clearly explained that I did not want breakfast – I had to leave before 6:00 AM for an early flight and wouldn't be able to eat it anyway. They offered a takeaway breakfast box instead, but I told them that i can’t have it, since it has to be DIABETIC. They admitted they could not prepare a diabetic-friendly option – yet still insisted I had to pay for breakfast no matter what. So I ended up paying for something I didn’t want, didn’t need, and didn’t ask for. To make matters worse, I had to give the food box away to my taxi driver the next morning. Complete waste. The hotel even texted me twice before my arrival, and nowhere did they mention this “mandatory” breakfast policy. It felt dishonest and manipulative. This experience left a very bad impression. I will not be returning to this hotel and I urge others to be cautious, especially if you are booking through their website. Such information regarding mandatory charges for a service that feels very much optional is just bad business. If you the breakfast is a part of the package advertise it so don’t surprise your guests!!! The way the breakfast charge was forced on me at check-in, without any prior warning, felt like manipulation — not hospitality. I have to add that I do not have any complaint about the young lady at the reception. She tried to help and even offered a full refund if I did not agree to this policy but I was checking in at 9pm and had to catch an early morning flight so I was cornered kind of to “accept” that policy!!
