Architectural 2Br in Plateau by Sonder

This was a really great place to stay while in Montreal! My family of 5 stayed several days in Nov 2023. The room was basically a 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen including washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment and the place was immaculate. Best of all the location was fabulous! There was no problem with noise beyond what's normal for a city. There were some very solid restaurants within walking distance. It was very easy to get in and out using the keypad codes. There is a nearly 24 hour security guard at the desk, but they're not associated with Sonder. They can be helpful in getting in the building initially, but they won't know anything about your stay. The only struggle was with parking. There is no parking through Sonder. If you're willing to walk, there is free overnight street parking about a half mile north. The only other option is find a paid lot.

I went with a couple of girlfriends and I thought it was a really great stay. The rooms was a lot cheaper than the hotels in the area and it was clean and cozy. It had a ton of nice restaurants within waking distance as well as a couple of really nice cocktails bars. Even the bell center is within walking distance if the weather is nice. It took us a minute to figure out that the Sonder units are in a normal residential apartment building. I've seen some reviews on here saying it's an abandoned building and that's absolutely not true. You get instructions on how to enter the apartment building a few days before you book. There was a club right below us, so it was noisy one night but it didn't really bother us too much but it might be questionable if you were there for business or something.

Location is good, nearby amenities, still need to walk. Not like in front the hotel.😟Booked for two bedrooms…..simple and nice as similar as Sonder , Ottawa. What wonderful things about here? Like my second home, everything inside my Abnb or hotel?? 🤔are complete until washer & dryer with detergent except no tooth brush and paste….that’s okay. Horrible is during my staying, renovations outside going on and tv no functioning 😰😱Not easy to complaint, everything go thru online. Bear in mind, this is not hotel, was an Abnb service.
