Archontiko Riziko

My wife and I visited Chios in late September 2024 for our honeymoon and stayed at the beautiful Archontiko Riziko. Chios was our first stop in Greece and our stay at Riziko was the perfect start to our trip. Located in the beautiful and historic Kampos region, the hotel is a 5-minute drive from the airport, and 10 minutes from the Chios city center. The property is absolutely stunning, like taking a walk back in time!! The main buildings are beautifully renovated and walking the citrus tree-lined paths around the hotel grounds was a real highlight. Our room was very nice and the entire hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Riziko's breakfast was absolutely delicious, with different offerings every day. We loved starting our day with fresh jam and pastries and sitting under the sun and trees. Pantelis, the host, was the picture of hospitality and kindness. Even before we arrived in Chios he had helped secure restaurant reservations. When we arrived at the hotel, Pantelis immediately welcomed us with information about the island and made us lunch reservations at a wonderful beach-side restaurant. We also received an incredible tour of the hotel grounds and learned about the history of the property and Chios. Pantelis and the staff immediately took care of any issue or any request, day or night. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Archontiko Riziko and we will certainly stay here again when we return to Chios!!

Beautiful location and beautiful stay! The rooms were clean & comfortable, the entire property is historic and charming. Highly recommend, conveniently short drive from the airport and the port.

The ambiance of the hotel was calming and relaxing, perfectly suited for a getaway. The decor was antique, and the historical essence of the building added a unique charm. Our junior suite was spacious and well air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the property is its beautiful garden, where you can sit and unwind amidst nature. The cicadas create a lively orchestra during the day, while a solitary owl takes over at night, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. The hotel also offers convenient parking space. Breakfast was decent, providing a good start to the day. The staff, particularly Pantelis, were friendly and informative. Pantelis enthusiastically shared insights about various attractions on the island, enhancing our stay.
