Arcotel Donauzentrum Wien

Wonderful stay. Room was comfortable and clean with all the essentials needed. Loved the QR code with option to notify housekeeping of need for room cleaning. Very close to two major subway stations so it was a breeze to get to the city center for my business meetings daily. But the most impressive thing for me was the continental breakfast included daily. The options were amazing with wide assortment of breads, proteins, coffee, tea, fruits, juices and cheeses, great value for money would definitely stay here again.

A self-check-in hotel—easy for the younger ones but not so much for the older guests. The hotel room is bare, with minimal amenities. Only hand wash and shampoo are provided in the shower. Luckily, there is plenty of hot water for bathing and showers, which I appreciate. There is no kettle in the room, but you can get hot drinking water in the hotel lobby, where coffee and tea are also available. Overall, the room is clean and nice—simple but sufficient for me.

Easily accessible by U-Bahn (subway), near a big shopping mall, quite a few food options in the neighbourhood. Check-in was very slow (one person at the desk); they have an online check-in option that should accelerate things, but most guests don't use it, so lines get long. The rooms are modern and comfortable but the shower has an exposed glass door that could be make things a bit uncomfortable for guests who value their privacy. And the WiFi connection was terrible, not what I would expect in this price range.
