Arcotel Nike

The service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and dare I say fun at times. They helped book reliable taxis which promptly arrived at the hotel and swiftly and competently dealt with other requests. The breakfast and dinner is somewhat better than I would expect from such ahotel which was a pleasant surprise. Photos are for dinner and a dessert. The decor appears early nineties and while in need of refreshment, it is still serviceable. There appears to be some blend of historic and art theme which is lost on me and one wonders if the concept aged well. That said the bathrooms have baths and are surprisingly well appointed. Depending on your floor number and cardinal position, you may have a really great view, especially at sunrise. The hotel is especially well located for my needs. It is near main roads, the Danube, trams and and a 45 min walk from the main train station.

We stayed July 26th, 2025, it was a rainy cloudy day with temperatures in the 70's (22 Celsius) . We got 2 rooms for my husband and I + our 2 daughters. The room felt like heaters were on, it was very very hot. After 1 hour of being in the room, I shared this with the front desk staff and asked for a fan. I kept window fully open all night and still the room temp must have been 80 F or 26-27 Celsius. Rooms were old but beds and bathrooms were updated. Front desk people were nice but unfortunate they could not provide a fan especially in summer with no AC. After camping 7 days, I was really hoping for a solid nights sleep, but I was so hot, I couldn't sleep well at all :(.

The hotel’s restaurant is good, service is good and the staff were friendly. The rooms however are old and not in good condition and very dirty and smell bad, towels smelled really bad, the water glasses had a strange glue in them, and no AC. The view was super. Keep in mind no one will clean your room unless you tell the reception to clean it everyday.
