Arena Mar Hotel and SPA

One of the best places I've ever stayed. unfortunately we need it to shorten our vacation because of personal reasons, but all the experience was amazing. The rooms were very clean, and when they clean it every day they really clean them, not just changing the towels. The food excellent, a lot of choices and the variety of drinks that u don't have time to try all of them. Every night was live music or a show and the stuff some friendly...some not, but overall an amazing experience.

The hotel itsself is nice, the elevator works, every room has a balcony and it's beautifully clean. However, the shower in each room doesn't have the walls to prevent water from spilling everywhere and the drain barely even drains (atleast in the room i got). Bathroom smelled like sewage first time I entered the room, but the smell faded slowly. Didn't really care about these imperfections though. Most if even half of the staff don't know how to speak english. Due to this language barrier, the back massage which I appointed for wasn't firm enough. The staff actually behave okay-ish. Some dishes are not even worth it, while some of them taste awesome. It's like gambling, but with food. I suspect they support food waste though because of the way they just throw away leftover food from my plate when I am full. I also feel like the staff are swearing at us when we're the last to eat, yikes it makes me feel uncomfortable but I understand their impatience. The gym, which is at the same floor with the spa, is smaller than I expected and not so varied, but I am still grateful. In conclusion: this hotel is quite worth classifing as ★★★★ because of the location close to the beaches and the varied food. Update 1: I used to think this hotel was bad but it became nice somehow. I have a question for you staff though: How do you dispose of the food?

Rooms were dirty, especially the bathroom. Food was a disaster, we only had breakfast included but the food was poor quality and the dining area was not clean at all. It overall looked gross and you had to search for the few things you could eat safely. The staff was not very friendly. The pool with the sunbeds was very crowded, after 7am there were no free sunbeds because everyone was reserving a bunch of beds with their towels. Only good thing about this hotel is the location close to the beach. The beach is very nice but as there is no hotel area at the beach you have to pay for sunbeds and an umbrella at the beach, which is however relatively cheap.
