Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort Autograph Collection

We stayed here before a cruise leaving from Civitacchia. I was hesitant at first because of other reviews. I'm happy we did. We were there the week before the Italian open and could see all the work they were doing to prepare. The staff was amazing with over the top service. The staff at the desk knew us by name and made sure we were enjoying our stay. They arranged transportation from the airport and to the cruise port, to the beach and to a wine tasting. We were upgraded to a small suite. The balcony overlooking the golf course was amazing and relaxing. The bartenders at the Dragonfly bar were outstanding. Limoncello martinis were our favorite! The two areas of critique I have were the indoor pool looked like it needed updating and dining options were limited. Although the food at the country club was very good. Transportation to the nearby cities was expensive. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay highly recommend.

We stayed for a few days in December and it was a major highlight of the trip. The golf course is stunning and fun to play. The course is very well maintained and our rental clubs did not disappoint (which really is saying a lot!) The food was absolutely perfect, fresh, special and tasty (we only had breakfasts and meals at the clubhouse since we were visiting at an off time but I really do miss the food). However, the best part was the staff. We were extremely well taken care of, my infant son was treated like a prince, and every single person we met was kind, helpful and genuinely pleased to be of service. I've visited a lot of nice places, but the difference at the Argentario was the genuine care of the staff. They were also super cool about us practicing Italian. The rooms were also very well done and the grounds were quite enjoyable to walk. We also brought back a lot of their olive oil because it was that well-flavored! Would absolutely recommend and we plan to come back next time we are in Italy.

The most attentive staff and helpful service. They do not miss any tiny detail in making your stay special. The location is peaceful but would not be a great base to visit larger Italian cities. The golfers in our group raved about the golf course. The food was so good. Ask them to book you at the Il Quinto Winery nearby!
