But what truly set this place apart was the service. Maria went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, remembered our family after just one visit, and treated us like old friends every time we returned. She made dining here feel personal and special, and her warmth is something we won’t forget. If you’re in Syros, do not miss Argini—it’s the perfect combination of unforgettable food and heartfelt hospitality.

this hotel offers an appealing design and exceptional service, creating a welcoming environment for guests. If space isn’t your top priority, it’s a charming option. But if you prefer a room with more breathing room, you may find the smaller layout doesn’t quite match the premium price tag. Would I stay again? Possibly—especially for shorter stays where the friendly and professional staff make all the difference.

When visiting a Greek restaurant, I expect to enjoy local or at least Greek sourced meat. Seeing cuts from the USA and New Zealand on the menu felt disappointing and out of place. It takes away from the authentic experience travellers come here for. Just like you wouldn't expect to visit Hawaii and be served meat from Poland, it simply doesn't fit the spirit of the place.
