We rested in July. The hotel is wonderful - clean territory, green. There are separate pools for children and adults. There was also entertainment for children, our animator was incredible, special thanks to him. My daughter was very happy!
We paid for a day pass to use the facilities. The hotel was lovely, really clean, plenty of sundowners and parasols and 4 swimming pools. We liked it so much we have booked to stay overnight next month. The negatives from the day visit would be that the pool bar ripped me off on the first order charging me 17lv for 2 drinks which seemed expensive and he put it in his own wallet. After that the drinks were much cheaper so I think there is a rogue staff member! Only 2 toilets and no changing rooms or showers by the pool?
Disappointing Stay Due to Unfriendly Staff – Saved Only by a Few Exceptional Individuals Unfortunately, my experience at this resort was far from what I would expect from a four-star property. The overall standard of manners among the staff was surprisingly low, and English was barely spoken, making communication difficult throughout the stay. At reception, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. The staff were often dismissive, indifferent, and unfriendly, rarely offering a smile or even basic courtesy. This created a tense and uncomfortable environment that, at times, made me feel almost anxious — certainly not the kind of hospitality one hopes for while on holiday. That said, there were a few standout individuals who truly made a difference and prevented this from being a one-star review. The cleaning ladies working outdoors, were consistently polite, warm, and cheerful, always greeting us with a smile in the mornings. A special mention goes to Hristo, a member of the outdoor pool staff. When he noticed my mum struggling to climb the stairs with her walking stick, he immediately came over to assist her, as my hands were full. His kindness and brief friendly conversation genuinely made our evening and stood out in contrast to the otherwise unfriendly environment. Another positive note: Eric, the manager, was helpful in arranging a taxi for us to Varna — a small gesture, but appreciated. Overall, though, the unfriendly and, at times, borderline hostile attitude of most staff left a strong negative impression. I’ve traveled extensively, and unfortunately, this was one of the least welcoming places I’ve encountered. I would not return.
