Stayed with my Fiance and the kid for a night before an early AM flight to Orlando. Room price was great. The room was clean and well kept. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Location is easy to get to off of the interstates. While it didn't apply to us the shower in our room was also very handicap friendly with no step in and an easy to open door.

I went to Argosy for the first time Saturday 7/12/25, and I loved it. I had no idea the casino was so nice, and fun. There were people shouting with happiness after winning at the tables, and that was abundant! I love the atmosphere here. The only thing I'd change is the size of the drinks with how much they cost.

I visited the Argosy Casino in Kansas City for some gaming, though I didn’t stay at the hotel. The casino itself is pretty nice—modern, vibrant, with a good selection of games that hold up well against other nearby casinos, which look just as inviting. That said, the staff left a lot to be desired. They weren’t outright horrible, but they were borderline rude, especially at the cash counter. It felt like they genuinely didn’t care, and they made no effort to hide it. That attitude gave off a bad vibe, dragging down the whole experience. When you’re competing with other casinos in the area, that kind of service just doesn’t cut it. Even worse was the garage parking lot—it was filthy. Trash, uneaten food, and what looked like diapers were strewn all over. For my first time there, it screamed neglect and gave the property an unsafe, creepy feel, especially in the elevator. That first impression was a serious turnoff. Overall, the casino floor was great, but Argosy needs to clean up their parking garage and get their staff, especially at the cash counter, to show some basic courtesy. Fix those issues, and this place could really shine.
