Aria Centra Hotel Surabaya

I was on a business trip for 3 days and just check out just now and could not stop submitting my review The whole experience was awesome. The room, the cleanliness, the morning breakfast, the ambiance, the staff.. everything thing was so perfect. I must appreciate one staff named Hani, loved the way she took care during morning breakfast on last day. Very polite and great hospitality. Making sure to stay again. The pillow is so comfortable! I really have a nice sleep here after long trip. The water pressure was nice and the hot water is on 24 hours. They give complimentary drinks on minibar as well, even the refrigerator is not cold enough. Will be great if theyv renovate some area like sink and underbed. The others are nice.

We found the hotel to be quite ordinary and, unfortunately, not up to the standards we had expected. There were visible stains throughout the room, including on the pillow covers, bedsheets, towels, and blankets. The curtains had numerous holes, resembling Swiss cheese—clearly not part of the design. Even the plate holding the toilet amenities was stained. Additionally, the room did not have an iron. When we inquired at reception, we were informed that ironing facilities were available on Level 7. However, despite visiting the area twice, once accompanied by a staff member, we were unable to locate the iron. On a positive note, the hotel staff were exceptionally polite, warm, and welcoming, reflecting the hospitality that Indonesian people are so well known for, which we truly appreciated. Would I choose to stay here again? I'm uncertain.
