Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection

If I could give this music themed hotel more than 5 stars, I would. The music theme is well done, starting with a statement piano and then carries through the common areas and the rooms. The beds are comfortable, and our room was spacious. There is a pillow menu if you’d like a different pillow. I liked the techie touches from the door to the automatic window shades. Complementary wine and cheese with music every afternoon. Friday evenings they have a small band with a singer. The pool and jacuzzi are well done. Best jacuzzi I’ve been in. The breakfast buffet is perhaps smaller than other hotels but excellent quality and nice presentation. Hot foods are available by order. As you might expect, what makes a 5 Star hotel is there 5 Star staff. I was not disappointed once in the service. All staff went above and beyond to ensure our staff was exceptional. Note: It seems to be typical in Budapest to add a 15% service charge to food and beverage orders. I’ve found the notification is generally in very small print.

Such an amazing hotel. Rooms were gorgeous and so luxurious. Staff was superb. Rooftop bar was also great. Included breakfast was quality and had great selection. Location is great for Basilica, parliament and to hop on tram.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! I cannot fault it in any way! If you are looking to stay in Budapest this is the place! We stayed here in April 2025 and were simply blown away. The location is top notch a 30 sec walk from the St Stephen’s Basilica and (for us) walking distance to everything in the city. The staff could not be more polite and helpful, a true 5 star experience no matter your age or background. My partner and I are not used to staying in places like this, we often camp and Airbnb so were worried we might feel out of place, not once were we made to feel this way. Nothing was too much trouble. Wine and cheese in the afternoon was a real treat and the breakfast was excellent. Our room had a courtyard view, it was quiet, massive, immaculately clean and well serviced daily. The chocolates at turndown were divine! On a final note, the spa is wonderful and hardly used, we had it to ourselves every day! If you are looking to treat someone or simply want a really wonderful calm break I highly recommend this hotel.
