Arima Onsen Hanano Adults Only

This onsen was quite nice, the location was excellent, it’s right next to the bus terminal, the river and the famous red bridge were right in front of the hotel. The staff was excellent, we were brought to our room by the hotel staff and were given a very detail introduction about the hotel, onsen opening hours, dinner and breakfast hours. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The Shabu Shabu Kobe beef dinner was included in our package. I tried both gold and silver onsen, unfortunately I don’t know much about the difference between these 2 types of onsens.

Stayed one night in one of their traditional Japanese rooms with dinner and breakfast. We had high expectations and they definitely met it. The room was large and clean, the food was fresh and tasty, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The top floor onsens were quite large, easily able to handle 30 people if needed, with a well-equiped and clean change room.

An antique onsen ryokan in the area with very nice service. We booked room with 2 meals ( dinner & breakfast). The dinner was served with large variety of tradition Japanese food, from side dishes to main, they serve Kobe beef as the key of the meal, and we can choose to eat as shabushabu ( hot pot) or sukiyaki( yakiniku with fresh egg). However the dinner was normal, not very special. The breakfast was nice with grilled fish, side dishes and miso soup with white rice. Rice is additionally provided upon request. The onsen is really nice with both gold ( kinsen) and silver( ginsen). The silver is outdoor and was very nice experience when you enjoy good onsen looking at the star. The gold was very relaxing and chilled indoor, but a little bit small.
