My wife said if we weren't already married, she'd have figured this stay is exactly how I should woo her. First and foremost, everyone there was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and courteous. Excellent suggestions on how we would best use our time. Then without hesitation assisting us in arranging transportation to those sites. Charming is the proper term. This entire hotel, main lobby, breakfast area and our room were so quaint. Breakfast, which is included, was spectacular. We are home now and this morning and we apologized to each other for not having fresh baked bread, croissants, fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade lemon jam, and home grown olives to go with our breakfast. We were able to only match fresh-from-the-hen eggs. Normally, we book less expensive hotels when we travel because we are out "seeing the sights". The Arion caused us to alter our course a little and linger on our balcony, 25 meters up the rocky cliff above the Aegean Sea, to relax there and just take it all in. Sunrise mimosas, on our balcony, it doesn't get much better. 10/10 would book again.

Fantastic family owned property perched on a cliff overlooking Syros. The family that owns this place practices world class hospitality. They met us @ the port, they personally make your breakfast - which includes olives from their trees, jams from their fruit trees, and warm hospitality. Could not recommend it more highly.

We loved every moment of staying at the Arion! Perfect location (just outside the centre, quiet and peaceful but easy enough to walk in!), perfect views and perfect hospitality! Thank you for being such kind and hospitable hosts. We’ll be back!
