Ariotto Village

We've stayed at the Ariotto a few times while visiting friends. It is an excellent hotel. Rooms are large, clean and if not modern, then charming and with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The area is quiet, and there are great views across the Monferrato hills. We've never had dinner here but the breakfast is excellent. There is plenty of choice, the food is tasty and service is friendly and helpful. Most staff speak some English and are happy to help. They are also (like a lot of places in Italy) very dog friendly and were super helpful when we brought ours with us. Very much recommend people if they are looking for a local place to stay.

Well, we really liked the overall feeling of staying at Ariotto Village. However we were unlucky with our room (no. 302) which is right under the elevator and passageway to the storage. So there was lots of noise there over the daytime. The wifi was quite lousy (weak) in our room and at the pool area. The bedroom was nice and clean, bed was quite creaky though. The bathroom worked as it should. The pool area is great and one of the few hotel pools that opens before June 1st, which is great for us "May people" :-)

My first impression of the hotel is that it is okay. The staff is very kind, the food is tasty, and the view from here is amazing. There are two points I would highlight. The food is tasty, but the portions are very small. During the night (I am not sure if this is the case in every room), but in my booking, there were bugs coming out onto the floor. Overall, I recommend it, but an extra care for the rooms would make this place great.
