I had an issue with the reservation I made with the house next door, so I called the number on the front of the building of Arlan House and the person I had over the phone (Stephen) was super helpful. I had a great stay at Arlan House, everything was very clean. And thanks to Stephen I didn't end up sleeping in my car.
Great hotel with brilliant service! Arrived at the check-in time and getting into the rooms was easy and having free water and biscuits was a nice touch. Stephan also went above and beyond in accepting our request for late checkout which made our stay even better! Location is brilliant (only about 3mins from the centre and restaurants). For the price paid absolutely brilliant hotel!
Just stayed at Arlan House for the 4th time. It's my go-to hotel in Basingstoke. The location is amazing only 5 minutes walk from restaurants and Festival Place, the beds are super-comfy, the bathrooms are nice, the rooms are always very clean and the parking is free. Also having a fridge and a fan in your room is a bonus. Steve, the manager, and Sharon, the cleaner, were very kind to us when staying recently while my Mum was receiving palliative care in hospital.
