I stay at Arlo NoMad several times a year and it’s consistently one of the best hotel experiences in NYC. The staff is friendly, the rooms are modern and thoughtfully designed, and the vibe throughout the hotel is relaxed but stylish. Rooms are compact but super functional, with big windows and smart use of space. The shared areas are great for getting work done or hanging out with a drink. Location is unbeatable—right in Midtown, close to everything, but still quiet enough to sleep well. It’s a rare mix of comfort, convenience, and design. Highly recommend.
Great location, staff is amazing. Surprisingly good coffee. We had two rooms and one in particular was definitely showing wear. But they were well arranged and clean. Went up to rooftop space to eat our breakfast and enjoyed the view. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is in one of the best locations you could ask for — right in the heart of the city, so we didn’t have to spend any time commuting to the center. We were also able to find a good parking spot for the duration of our stay. It’s not easy, but definitely doable. The view from our room was amazing. We booked the most expensive option, but unfortunately, at night we could hear the elevator and some other noises. When we brought this up to the staff, they were kind and offered us a different room. It seemed like they were aware of the issue — I mentioned it sounded like a door was constantly opening and closing due to the wind, but they explained it was something related to the elevator that they couldn’t fix. The rooms themselves are extremely small, and the “king bed” was definitely not what we expected — it felt more like a queen size at best. That said, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, which I really appreciated! Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Anything longer than four days might be uncomfortable, but for a quick trip of three days or less, it’s ideal. They also have a nice rooftop.
