Armada Hotel

We recently stayed at Armada. Overall, it was a decent option for a short stay. The room was simple, spacious enough, though lacking a few small comforts like rugs or extra amenities that could make it feel a bit more homey. If you’re traveling with a baby or small kids, just take note that parking can be a bit challenging at times and may require some extra coordination. The staff were polite but could be more proactive in assisting guests with special needs or young children. Breakfast had a few choices — enough to start the day, but don’t expect a wide spread. If you’re looking for a no-frills, straightforward stay, this hotel can work — but if you prefer a bit more comfort or service, you may want to explore other options too.

I recently stayed at Armada Hotel Manila and had a mixed experience. While the restaurant service was truly outstanding—with delicious food, excellent presentation, and attentive staff—the same cannot be said for the front desk. Unfortunately, the receptionists were not accommodating, which impacted the overall impression of hospitality. A warm and welcoming reception is crucial in the hospitality industry, and I hope the hotel addresses this issue to match the high standard set by their restaurant team.

The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and they responded quickly to any issues we raised. We did experience some problems with the smart lock system, but thankfully the team was able to find a solution promptly. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to properly cool the room, even when set to the lowest temperature. The Wi-Fi was also a major letdown—initially there was no connection at all. While the staff addressed it quickly, the internet remained very slow and frequently disconnected. The most disappointing part of the stay was discovering baby cockroaches in both the bedroom and the bathroom, which was quite off-putting.
