Armani Hotel Milano

This is my 5th Stay here.. Exceptional experience at the Armani Hotel, which I consider my favorite hotel in Milan. The hotel's location is perfect, offering unparalleled access to the city's shopping on Montenapoleone and attractions. The style and aesthetic are sublime, creating an atmosphere of sophisticated elegance throughout. I highly recommend the terrace rooms, which provide fantastic views of the Duomo and the Milanese skyline. The room itself is a marvel of high-tech design, featuring incredible bath amenities and a huge, luxurious bathroom. The breakfast at the Armani Hotel is truly superb, with an impressive array of items to choose from (Italian pastries, eggs and different types of bacons, sausages, all of the highest qualities. They also have cakes and and Asian style buffet. It truly is one of my favorite aspects of the stay. Additionally, the spa facilities are outstanding, offering multiple saunas and steam rooms for ultimate relaxation.

The Armani Hotel is a wellness retreat disguised as a high-end hotel in the middle of Milan. The minimalist design can initially appear quite stark but has a very calming effect. The continental breakfast buffet has both healthy and indulgent options (the smoked fresh tuna loin was a favourite). I have never slept so well in a hotel room as I did here. There are definitely quirks that take getting used to (the square knobs in the bathroom and absence of door handles) but overall would not hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arose. NB: the pool is more of a soaking pool than a lap pool but nonetheless very relaxing.

I stayed here in 2012 and my memory is that it was more outstanding than this time. The staff are fantastic, but the room wasn’t very clean, quite outdated and no shampoos in the bathroom. They only provided a conditioner and claimed that was 2 in 1. Needless to say I left early in the morning with my hair greasy. Also, my husband was livid we had to manage lights on the iPad. Not very convenient. Again, overall not worth the price even though it’s a beautiful hotel
