Armathwaite Hall Hotel

Afternoon tea: We have visited for afternoon tea on numerous occasions and the standard is always high. Today was no exception. Lovely attentive staff, excellent selection of savoury and sweet treats. Offered iced water along with choice of teas/coffees (some of the other guests had opted for cold drinks). A lovely experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding day at Armathwaite Hall, the venue was exquisite, food was absolutely delicious and above all the wedding team were absolute perfection. I found Armathwaite Hall on Hitched and messaged for a viewing, we got a response really quickly and shortly after had a viewing booked. This was our 2nd viewing for a wedding venue and as soon as we met the wedding co-ordinator Lynsey and the beautiful venue, we knew straight away this is where we will be getting married. The venue is pure luxury and we had a perfect wedding spa weekend, we couldn’t have asked for better. The room and view was stunning, the breakfast, wedding breakfast and evening meal the night before was absolutely stunning and we felt like royalty the whole weekend. However we want to really thank Lynsey for making our weekend and the wedding process seamless, she really is the best of the best. Nothing at all was too much trouble and she was truly on top of her game throughout it all, I absolutely believe it wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her there by our side for the 18 months planning and the big weekend itself. We can’t thank you enough Lynsey and would recommend you and Armathwaite Hall to everyone and anyone considering getting married in the lakes. We can’t wait to return for our 1st wedding anniversary and many other anniversaries to come.

We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday for a family of 12 and we were not disappointed. We were give our own private area where we were looked after so well by all the staff. The food was delicious and they took real care facilitating all dietary requirements from allergies to vegan eaters too. All of us enjoyed it. The staff are a real credit to this place and they made it so special for us all. The views were breathtaking and the whole atmosphere was just wonderful. Thank you again. The beef was delicious. And thanks for the extra rolls of bread too Haha.
