Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan

We love staying at the Marriott Republic Square in Yerevan Armenia. It’s centrally located and seems to be the heart of the city. We recently celebrated our son’s wedding in Armenia and majority of our guests booked their rooms at the Marriott via a group rate. Lusine was our contact and she was amazing! Very responsive and helpful. She made the entire process very easy. The rooms at the Marriott are very spacious and comfortable however they are a bit dated. The hotel just remodeled and renovated the lobby and it’s beautiful. Hopefully the rooms are next. The breakfast is incredible and the concierge level has great dinners every night. The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool. We love the hotel.

Excellent hotel with a prime location. Staff are amazing. One staff stood out in the front desk and his name was Hayk. He went the extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful. In the last day; we were asking him about a local breakfast place to eat at and he generously offered us breakfast in the hotel for free since it was a Sunday and most places were closed that early. He really made the stay exceptional. Will definitely come back if I was in Yerevan.

I visited Armenia with my daughter for 3 nights. The positives: - The location is fabulous. Very central and accessible to all locations at republic square by walk. - the room size was large - Madela, the lady at the breakfast area, prepares the best pancakes and she was always forthcoming and pleasant. The negatives: - hotel overall is aged and the rooms fared for a 4 bedroom and NOT 5 bedroom. - The room rates didn’t warrant the quality. The pool was non functional and there wasn’t any steam or sauna facilities. - Generally the staff, barring the reception, could have offered a smile. The gentlemen at the entrance of the hotel and the waitresses at the breakfast hall didn’t seem hospitable. Overall it was okay, but I would opt for alternate properties within the same locality for my next stay.
