Armour Motor Inn

Wonderful little Motel in a two minute walk of all of Beechworth. Warm, cosy rooms. Off street parking great (Just expect foliage on the car in the morning. 😀) So much greenery, and rooms and bathrooms immaculately clean. Toaster, microwave and kettle, of course, all wonderful additions. As was the radiant heater as opposed to a noisy air cons. Just lovely.

Great first impression. I was greeted by a lovely gentleman who took the time to tell me all about the town and the attractions. (which was refreshing start to our stay). The room was compact and simple but comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The heater worked well, it was quiet and easy to use; the room itself was a little on the dark side because of the red bricks, but there was enough lights around the room to compensate. Overall the motel is kept in good condition. The location was fabulous; we could leave our car and walk everywhere, with plenty of good food options around. Yes, there is room for improvement with the accommodation, but for the price it is pretty good.

Very convenient location to explore Beechworth. Andrew & staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room provided everything we required, was clean and Andrew had heater on so room was warm on our arrival. Not overly large room but had all we needed for our stay.
