Exceptional stay at this cozy welcoming hotel. Everything was a delight, the view from the room, the cleanliness, the staff was really nice and professional, and a special mention for the lovely SPA and delicious food. had also the pleasure to taste chef Michael Kaizer's delicatessen which was a nice surprise. Its an adult only hotel which was exactly what my friend and I were looking for. very close to the ski slopes, ski rental in the hotel as well and close to the city center, there was also a shuttle at our service. This hotel deserves a 5 star rating for sure! Whole heartedly recommend this place. Thank you Daniela and all the staff for making our stay so pleasant. Looking forward yo come back.
The hotel is in the middle of mountains, with an amazing view. The reception staff is very nice and professional, and so is everybody working at the bar. The rooms are very clean and the shuttle service to the ski-area is super useful.
Rooms are rather basic but comfortable to rest in. The walls are very thin, we were placed in a connected room and were able to hear everything the guests in the other room were loudly discussing. Beds are very soft, too soft for those used to firm mattresses. We were positively surprised by a yoga room we were allowed to use and by yoga and stretching exercises offered after skiing. There’s also a good gym and good selection of saunas. Ski service is available directly in the hotel so you can have your skis waxed over night. Personnel were polite and helpful, including the gentlemen providing the shuttle service to the gondola. We were told one could ski down to the hotel but the piste was closed during the weekend we were there (mid Jan), don’t know the reason. Water in the pool was too cold for our taste, it wasn’t enjoyable to jump into a cold pool after a whole day of skiing. Also, the hotel only offers a buffet dinner for 65 CHF pp so we ended up having to go to the village to get a light meal instead though it was a bit exhausting. Perhaps the hotel could consider offering a la carte dinner too? Note that you have to climb up the hill to get to the village from the hotel. It takes 3 mins by car otherwise but then you’ll have to look for parking options.
