We just had guests, from around the world, staying in 17 rooms & used their meeting room a couple of mornings. I didn’t stay in a room myself but asked everyone their opinion. The responses were above expectations; I love this hotel; It was awesome; it was great; It was amazing. Arrive went above and beyond, even starting coffee for our early risers before the coffee shop usually opens. We ordered a basic breakfast for our meeting room this morning with pastries, yogurt and fruit. The cheese danish I had was exceptional. I always like yogurt but I don’t know why but this yogurt was delicious. I wish I knew where to find the granola. The fruit was fresh cut strawberries and pineapple. Thank you to all the employees at Arrive that helped make this an exceptional trip for our guests!
I have stayed at ARRIVE twice this month and both stays were incredible. This hotel is a perfect mix of boutique charm (local snacks and drinks in the minibar, unique decor, luxury bath products) with all the essentials you need to feel comfortable in a practical way (outlets on both sides of the bed, a big desk with more outlets, mini hotel stationary, intuitive light switches, places to put your bag, places to hang your clothing, additional seating, great water pressure). The location is fabulous, too. Close to Beale Street and Lorraine, but also steps away from the river. I also appreciated the kindness of the staff. During both my stays members of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. I didn't have a chance to try either of the restaurants, but LOVED the non-alcoholic cocktail I got at the bar. As a musician who lives in hotels, I can't tell you how much I wish there were more like this gem!
I really loved the rooms at the Arrive with their loft-like design, great bathroom, great bed, and windows that you could open. The lobby is also gorgeous, and the Arrive has a solid set of food and drink offerings. I was also a huge fan of the coffee bar. My expense report is loaded with Hustle and Dough charges. Overall, though, I was frustrated with the Arrive. $34 valet charge is exorbitant, especially when you can't get the car out before 6a, and I was often waiting for someone to show up just to drop the keys. A fitness center that doesn't open until 7a? Housekeeping only on-demand, so don't forget to ask! And there was often nobody staffing the front desk. They can do better.
