We stayed in this beautiful hotel from 12 - 15 March 2025. We had the most wonderful stay. We were greeted by Konul at the front desk. She was so helpful and kindly upgraded our room to a suite with a stunning balcony which looked out onto the Flame Towers. The location of the hotel is perfect for all the sights. The breakfast was superb, with all sorts of delicious dishes to choose from. What made our stay super special was the 5 star service from all the staff, especially from Konul who went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a truly special stay in Baku. Five stars all round from us.

To make it short: Wow!!! Longer version: Service of every member of the staff we’ve face during those 4 days, they are super professionals, they knows how to be funny a little bit, how to assist with every request and at any time we’ve contacted. Special thanks to the breakfast team, chef and Hannah doing the breakfast experience to be great starting point for each day. Facilities are decent and well preserved old building with all the modern part you might need. The room is clean and maintained. Design, every piece on each wall, pictures and sculptures, light and sudden findings on walls. I saw few “design hotels”, I know when i see one with all the attention to tiny details. Whoever created this beauty, you are an artist of design! I will clearly tell everyone who is willing to go Baku to stay in Art Club Hotel.

Somehow we paid equivalent of $200/night for a room here. On the plus side rooms were clean, the architecture was impressive and the staff were helpful - nothing here reflects on them. On entering the room there was a perfume which appeared to be masking another smell - it became clear there was a pervasive sewage smell in the room later in our stay. It was late so I needed a shower after a day of travelling but there was no hot water. The next morning at breakfast I was told that there was a charge for a second cup of coffee. (That said one of the staff gave me a complimentary extra “just this once”). Note also there is no elevator so our room on the 3rd floor meant lots of exercise - ok for us but not for everyone. The rooftop terrace is not open - there is nothing up there, no restaurant or bar or guard rails - and we had to persuade them to let us up to see the view. Again the staff were helpful but the hotel needs to do some work to improve.
