Art Hotel Aomori

Stayed here for a night before an early morning flight to HND at 7.30am and that was the decision to choose this hotel as the taxi journey is only 20 mins at 6am and cost around 4K yen. The location is 1.2km from the city centre where the train station is. Room is big with 4 single beds on the 12th floor. You can drink as well apple juice at the dispenser near the front desk. The staff was very helpful to help us book an early morning taxi the day before.

So glad to have stayed in the Nebuta room, the lanterns were beautiful. If I could give an extra star for service then this hotel would get it. I lost my wallet during the trip near the hotel, the staff searched the lobby for me in case it was there, it was handed in later and the lobby called me to collect it, so grateful that they assisted me so much. Location for this hotel is a 10-15 min walk to the main train station, however most of that walk is along the main shopping street so there is lots to see as you do the walk.

Love the extra pillows, the energetic lobby design, the cleanliness and the amenities smells good, and all the extra amenities like oil cleanser, toner, etc.! The laundromat even accept touch&go, super convenient if you don’t have enough coins. Its a bit of walk from Aomori station (15mins), in case it rains don’t think umbrellas will help 🥶 so if only there’s like shuttles
