Art Hotel Athens

The staff here are one of the most helpful hotel staff I’ve come across. So friendly. The manager Miranda ( I think her name was) was so nice, let us keep the room till 8.00pm till we were picked up to go the airport. They sorted out the aircon issue we had straight away. The hotel itself is a little dated but it’s clean, and the maids come everyday, there is a little pool and sun loungers on the 6th floor should you wish to sunbathe , but Athens is a city and we preferred to just explore it. There is quite a few homeless people around but absolutely harmless and caused no trouble, it’s a 20 min walk from palaka so was great. We went there everyday and there’s lots of lovely bars and restaurants Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes, just for the staff alone. Me and my husband had a great experience there.

Our room was fine, the sheets and towels were very old. The location is central and easily walkable from the subway. There are a fair amount of unhoused people in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly, but not always helpful.

The staff were very friendly and happy to give advice for food or tourist locations, but found I had to ask multiple times for basic necessities such as blanket for the bed or more than 1 towel for a 2 person room. Overall it was a decent place to stay if staying for short term, best if you are packing light and have not many belongings.
