Art Hotel Boston

This is a very basic 4 star hotel, although the colleagues working there are quite nice. The rooms need updating as various things don't work well. Our bathroom was quite small and old. The breakfast is OK, but could be much better with a bit of effort. That said, if you book a few months in advance you can get a good price.

I recently stayed here for two nights and had a mixed experience. On the positive side: the breakfast was excellent, and the interior design of the hotel was beautiful. However, I felt it was absolutely unsafe to leave my belongings. My personal items were disturbed (opened and used!? I informed reception n manager, they said it never happened before, that's all). Apart the shower had a damaged hose that sprayed water everywhere. This not only compromised my comfort but also raised concerns about safety. Given these issues, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

For a hotel rated 4 stars, I would give it a 2 at best. There’s no way this property meets the standards of a 4-star hotel — it should be downgraded to 2 or 3 stars. The air conditioner didn’t work, the room had a bad smell, and the bathroom had a water leak. There was visible dust everywhere. I’d also like to highlight an issue with the breakfast staff. Bald male staff member was rude - appeared angry, didn’t return our greeting and looked at us like we are different species. That's unacceptable in hospitality.
