Art Hotel Kalelarga is a true gem in the heart of Zadar. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. One of the highlights is the fantastic cooked-to-order breakfast, which is complimentary and absolutely delicious. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right on the historic Kalelarga street, just steps from everything. A perfect blend of comfort, service, and charm

Awesome hotel and location. FYI….no hotel parking. You need to find a place to park and then walk your way to the hotel.

Room: We were welcomed by a used band-aid in the bathroom, with one toiletry bottle was so sticky on the outside I had to wash my hands after grabbing it. The room's TV is the size of a computer monitor from the 90's for those that care about these things. The air conditioning panel buttons are so worn out, or missing entirely, it is impossible to use - this should have been fixed ages ago. Footsteps and general noise were unusually loud. The hotel thought it appropriate to do repairs to the air conditioning in the hallway outside the room while we were sleeping, banging away like it's surely not a hotel at all. Breakfast: We were served a sliced baguette that was so obviously from the day before (week before?) as the pieces could have been used as pucks in an ice hockey game. The waiter then thought it was appropriate to scold me on using my "main plate" for my croissant which was just weird. The breakfast is just an uncomfortable experience. Service: The stay at the Art Hotel was one where it's just so painfully obvious the staff don't care one bit about service and simply go through the process of "dealing with the tourists". They are likely quite full in the busy season because of their location, and simply don't excel in any way. The service was just simply rude.
