Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Cozy and spacious rooms, a beautiful rooftop view and pool, and delicious dinner - but most of all, the service was incredible. Extremely attentive, helpful, and proactive staff all around. You get a 5-star, luxurious hotel experience for a reasonable price. If we ever find ourselves in Ascona again, will absolutely be booking a room at the Art Hotel Riposo

Our experience was excellent and exceed our expectations! We enjoyed our 3 overnights in this charming hotel where we could rest, relax and enjoyed the amazing food: breakfast and dinner with Jazz Live Concert. I have to say the hotel has every small details that makes it unique but the service from the staff elevates the experience to another level. We will be happy to come back! Thanks

This hotel has a lot of charm and personality, and is probably one of the best you can find in Ascona. It is being run by the same family for three generations. The inside of the hotel and the rooms are tastefully decorated. On Saturdays there is a free jazz concert in the courtyard where the current care keepers, Olivia and her brother, play together with other musicians. The breakfast buffet is great, with fresh fruits, eggs, cheese, different types of ham and salami, yogurts, pastries, breads and desserts. The dinner is usually a set menu, and delicious. The restaurant and hotel staff are all very attentive to whatever needs you have. If you like wine, make sure you taste the white Merlot, a Ticino specialty. Overall I highly recommend this hotel!
