Art Hotel Santorini

The receptionist was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name. We went to all the recommendations the guy said and it didn’t disappoint. The place was phenomenal. We will definitely stay longer when we go back.

The good: This is in a nice quiet location, abput a 10 minute walk from the Pyrgos city center. The suite we stayed in had a nice outdoor pool, which was great and looked over the area into the ocean, which made for some great sunset views. The breakfast was nice, being delivered to your room with some customization options. The staff were amazing and really friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The bad: The room itself, while nice, had a few things that needed to be addressed. The toilet seat cover and seat itself were broken, so lifting them up and down was pointless. The blinds near the pool weren't working properly, and we had to struggle to move them. The area around the bed had a lot of cracks, and pieces of cement were peeling off. Overall, it was a nice hotel, but for the price, it needs a little work.

I booked 4th April - 7th April at the ART HOTEL and when i arrived all the hotel all windows and doors were boarded up and the hotel was closed (and had clearly been closed for a while). i was not told about this before i arrived. I contacted the hotel number and was moved to another hotel on the other side of island. The new hotel was nice but as i was in Santorini for wedding celebrations that was in the location of Art Hotel this meant i had to spend alot of money on taxis and i was not able to help with the celebrations as much as i wanted to. I had to cut my stay short at the new hotel as Art Hotel were not willing to help with all the new travel cost. ART HOTEL should have not been taking bookings if there are not open
